In this session, you’ll learn how to layer fluid washes with simple geometric brush strokes to create expressive, coastal-inspired compositions—featuring an abstract water or coral-inspired motif. Andrea will walk you through approachable techniques that build confidence while leaving room for your own creative style.

Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to expand your skills, this class is designed to feel relaxed, inspiring, and easy to step into.

✨ Meet Your Instructor:
This workshop is led by Andrea Jensen, a local watercolor artist (with featured work at S&K!)

Andrea first fell in love with watercolor while studying under Sharon Larson of the Geneva Lakes Arts Foundation. During COVID shutdowns, she began exploring the medium on her own, developing a contemporary style characterized by soft washes, gentle textures, and serene, mood-filled scenes. Andrea’s approach brings a peaceful, creative energy to all of her work, including this class's holiday wreaths and seasonal watercolor subjects.
